SIERRA MOBILE AUTO GLASS & CALIBRATION · LOCALLY OWNED
Windshield Replacement & Auto Glass in Tahoe City
Sierra Mobile Auto Glass & Calibration serves Tahoe City drivers from our locally owned Truckee shop. We help arrange windshield replacement, rock chip repair and other auto glass work, with mobile availability confirmed around the vehicle and the appointment location.
Plan the appointment around your Tahoe City day
Whether your car is parked at home, work or a vacation property, give us the exact service location when you request a quote. If the property is rented or managed, confirm that vehicle work is permitted and that the technician can access the parking area.
Share any departure date or planned drive before booking. Parts availability, installation time, adhesive drive-away waiting time and calibration all belong in the schedule. We confirm what is realistic before reserving your appointment. We use fast-cure urethane with a 30-minute minimum safe drive-away time after windshield installation, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. Installation and any required calibration are separate parts of the appointment; your technician will confirm when your vehicle is ready.
Windshields, chips and other damaged glass
A small windshield chip may be repairable after assessment. Damage that is unsuitable for repair requires replacement. We also arrange door, rear, quarter, vent and sunroof glass work; a photograph helps us identify the affected panel.
Your VIN lets us check the exact glass configuration. Camera brackets, head-up displays, sensors and other equipment can change the part required even within the same model year.
When a Truckee shop visit is needed
A windshield-mounted forward-facing ADAS camera requires calibration after windshield replacement. A convenient mobile installation still needs the manufacturer-specified calibration procedure. We explain any separate shop requirement before the job.
Our shop is at 11211 Trails End Road, B-1, Truckee. Call before coming over so the correct glass, work space and calibration appointment can be arranged.
West Shore and nearby coverage
Tahoe City is part of our North Lake Tahoe service area. We also coordinate appointments for Homewood and Tahoma, and serve Carnelian Bay through our Kings Beach and North Shore coverage. Mobile availability depends on the address and work involved, so include both when you contact us.
Before your appointment
Will insurance cover the glass?
Coverage and deductibles depend on your policy. We can help organize the claim information and an itemized quote.
