The vehicle needs to remain in an appropriate work area during installation and for the required adhesive safe drive-away time. If the location is unsuitable, we can discuss bringing it to our Truckee shop. We use fast-cure urethane with a 30-minute minimum safe drive-away time after windshield installation, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. Installation and any required calibration are separate parts of the appointment; your technician will confirm when your vehicle is ready.

Build calibration into the schedule
If your vehicle has a windshield-mounted forward-facing ADAS camera, calibration is required after windshield replacement. We plan the manufacturer-specified process with the glass work and explain any shop visit required.
Let us know if your vehicle has night vision or other driver-assistance equipment. Separate systems can have their own calibration requirements, which we review for the actual vehicle and work performed.
