A windshield chip does not always mean the entire glass must be replaced. Send a clear photo and your vehicle details so we can assess the damage and explain the next step. The final recommendation depends on the damage, its position and the condition of the glass.
Repair is intended to stabilize suitable damage. A repaired area can remain visible, and some damage cannot be repaired. We explain that distinction before starting work.
Order glass for the actual Mercedes-Benz configuration
Your VIN helps identify the correct windshield for your model and options. Tell us about a head-up display, heated glass, rain sensor or camera near the rearview mirror, and whether you prefer Mercedes-Benz-branded OEM glass.
Glass and equipment can differ between model years and body styles. We review the part specification and any related trim or mounted components as part of the quote.
ADAS and night vision need the correct procedures
A forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield requires calibration after windshield replacement. Our team follows the procedure for the equipped vehicle and plans the required work with the installation.
If your Mercedes-Benz is equipped with night vision, mention it when booking. That system can require an additional, separate calibration. Our Truckee shop has night-vision calibration capability, with scope confirmed for the vehicle and work performed.

Our team has I-CAR Platinum ADAS recognition and ASE certification for ADAS calibrations. The physical shop is at 11211 Trails End Road, B-1, Truckee, and appointments are required.
We also review door, rear and other glass needs. Include any window-operation problem, insurance claim and scheduling constraint in your request so the quote covers the work you actually need. We use fast-cure urethane with a 30-minute minimum safe drive-away time after windshield installation, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. Installation and any required calibration are separate parts of the appointment; your technician will confirm when your vehicle is ready.
