Glass identification comes before dispatch
Send the year, make, model and VIN, plus the glass panel involved. For a truck, fleet vehicle or piece of equipment, include the unit or machine information as well. That preparation helps us avoid planning an appointment around the wrong part.
A windshield chip may be repairable after assessment. Cracks, broken side windows and damaged rear glass can require different parts, cleanup and time, so include photos of the damage.
Installation, calibration and safe departure
Windshield replacement requires calibration when a forward-facing ADAS camera is mounted to the windshield. We identify the specified procedure and explain any shop requirement.
Our Truckee shop at 11211 Trails End Road, B-1, is the physical service location supporting this coverage. Plan for the technician’s stated safe drive-away time and completed checks before returning the vehicle to use. We use fast-cure urethane with a 30-minute minimum safe drive-away time after windshield installation, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. Installation and any required calibration are separate parts of the appointment; your technician will confirm when your vehicle is ready.
