Identify the small window correctly
Quarter glass is commonly found near the rear side of a vehicle; vent glass may be part of a door assembly. Names vary, so a photo of the damaged panel is often the quickest way to show us what needs replacing.
Include the side of the vehicle, year, make, model and VIN. A fixed panel and an opening panel can require different parts even when they look similar from outside.
Glass, mouldings and attachment methods
Some small windows are bonded into the body. Others sit within a door or an assembly with dedicated seals and trim. We identify the correct installation method before giving you an appointment plan.
Colour, privacy tint, encapsulated edges and attached hardware can affect the replacement. The quote should account for the panel your vehicle actually uses, not simply the size of the opening.
After a break-in or impact
Tell us about any damaged trim, locks, paint or door components as well as the broken glass. This helps us distinguish the glass work from other repairs that may need attention.

After installation, we explain the relevant care and any required adhesive drive-away waiting time. If you are making an insurance claim, our team can help you gather the vehicle and damage details. We use fast-cure urethane with a 30-minute minimum safe drive-away time after windshield installation, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. Installation and any required calibration are separate parts of the appointment; your technician will confirm when your vehicle is ready.
